At first taste this had a lot of acid on the pallete but with about a half hour of air that quickly let up and the nose really exploded with lots of mellon, honey, vanilla and citrus. Great mineral quality to this wine with still a good but not over powering amount of acid, vanila and carmelized fruits. Really well done. I definetly think it has the stuffing to be cellared a while longer but very good now with a bit of air time.

Control of Alsace went back and forth between Germany and France more than once, but right now I think it's French!

Could someone please move this post? Apparently I'm not in the right country.
