| 2003 Schloss Lieser Riesling QbA Mosel-Saar-Ruwer (WIML89,NOWA,WS89)
Tasted October 22, 2005 at home with a lunch of Swiss Fondue (as opposed to Argetinian Fondue). Opened and served immediately in Spiegelau Authentis Wess Wein glasses. Light straw color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of wild flowers, peaches, citrus fruits, a dash of grapefruit and just a little födel. Flavors of peach, lime and a small amount of honey. Good balance other than it comes across just a hair thin on the palate. Short to medium finish. Can be drank now or over the 5 years fairly easily. Decent QPR at the $16.14 I paid. Recommended on that basis. | | Joe ----- Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone. | |
