1995 Bodegas Alejandro Fernandez Ribera del Duero Pesquera Tinto -- a beautiful, clear medium-ruby colour, reminiscent of an aged Burgundy; great nose of berry and violets; medium-bodied, but ripe and delicious dried cherry, blackberry, tobacco, coffee and faint anise flavours; fairly long finish with very fine tannins easily outlasted by the fruit. Around 91-92 pts. Probably should be drunk up in next couple of years; I won't hold my remaining bottles beyond that.
