Pale-medium yellow colour. Aromas of honey, spice, minerals, flint, white fruit (apple), petrol. Medium-full bodied, medium sweet, with good acidity. Honey, minerals, apricots, white flowers, apple, petrol, and cream on the palate. Moderate-long finish, with minerals, petrol, and white fruit notes. 92 points (04/15/2005).

1997: the best drinking year of the '90s (after 1990 itself). 1990/1996 and 1998 will beat it out in he long run, but for pure drinking enjoyment right now I go for 1997.

I agree with you, RF. It was a pleasure to drink, and is definately at its peak.
