This Sauvignon Blanc from Erwin Sabathi’s Poharnig vineyard is an expression of its unique terroir: nuances of fire stone, a cool aromatic on the palate along with grapefruit and mint. A very animating Sauvignon Blanc; the kind that Styrians prefer. Vintner Erwin Sabathi calls this wine one that "the masses love." Aged in large oak barrels, it will be at its best until 2008. Specific tasting notes of ripe fruits, elderberry, black currant, flint, grapefruit, mint and salt can be detected. -e.

From Vinaria: Clear and inviting cassis notes, sweet nose, herbal spices and minerals, open and clean, almost challenging acid, youthful and lively, causing a little bit of an imbalance, needs time, has potential.

I was asked on one of my other tasting notes to include the price of the bottle, so I am now doing this for all of my TN's.

This bottle retails for: $29.99
