| | To be honest, I am reading this book called "Bedazzled". It's about men and their zodiac signs. It gives you tips and interesting info about males depending on what sign they are. | | | |

| Can't say that I've ever felt like a good old submarine thriller......
Right now I'm slogging through "Filth" by Irvine Welsh. Not an easy read.

| No Shortcuts to the Top - Climbing the World's 14 Highest Peaks by Ed Viesturs
Pretty good mountain stories including more detail on the big Everest tragedy detailed in "Into Thin Air". I'm an Everest junkie so I really enjoyed this book. Lots of interesting details.

| Questions of Taste: The Philosophy of Wine edited by Barry C. Smith
In the introduction the question is raised " But is a fine wine a wine that must be appreciated?"
I think my brain is going to explode while reading this.

I somehow managed to order two copies of this book (paperback), and I know we have some fellow Everest reading fans here, so if anyone wants my 2nd copy just PM me your address and I'll send it on over.

I recently read this while on a flight. Not that it is a small book but it was a long flight. I loved this book!

| Morimoto: The New Art of Japanese Cooking (signed edition, great XMAS gift)
Pretty cool, and very interesting, especially his descriptions of various Japanese ingredients. And IMHO, his recipes are truly innovative.
(Now do I have the balls to try some of the more challenging recipes???)

| My wife recommended this to me about a year ago. I finally dug it out of the pile of books by the bed. Read about a quarter last night:
Water for Elephants
Fiction about a traveling circus during the Depression told by a veterinarian in flashbacks. Extremely well written. | | TN posted on Cellartracker "I drink no more than a sponge." François Rabelais www.tanglenet.com
