| I just read "Jar City" and "Silence of the Grave" by Arnaldur Indridason. Mysteries set in Iceland. Like "The No 1 Ladies Detective Agency" does for Botswana, these books give you a real flavor for life in Reykjavik.

| Habanos: The Story of the Havana Cigar by Nancy Stout. Great writing about cigar production, growers, international trade, and the pride workers feel. | | | |

| | Oh, and while away I read john Krakauer's "Into the Wild" - well written book, even if the author seemingly has an agenda of his own. Sad, crazy, fascinating story. | | | |

Somehow I missed the Vince Flynn books, so I am now in the process of devouring them.
