Surprisingly, as expensive as it is to live in NJ (Northern especially), our gas is less than many other states. In South NJ, you can find it still below $3.00.

Edward, it is not often we can claim a "bargain" compared to the rest of the country as NJ (Northern especially) is 1 of the more expensive states to live in actually. But, gas is 1 where we actually make out OK as compared to the rest of the nation. But, consider this, public transportation is non-existent in NJ pretty much, so we have to drive everywhere, every time. Commuting 30-50 miles by car 1-way to work in common in NJ. Anything under 30 miles 1-way is considered a good commute to work.

$3.05 for 87 these days.

I buy supreme and have been paying 3.41 for the last two weeks. But the best news for me is that my commute was cut down bu almost 70% so my need to tank up has gone down by that degree as well. Woo-hoo!

$3.11 for 87, I think a record for NJ. I expect it to rise as the price hits $115/per damn it.
