| | Lisey's story was pretty good. Now I'm on Swan Song by Robert McCammon. Kind of a post nuclear war epic like The Stand. 1,000 pages. I'm almost 1/2 way through and it's prettty good. Also just finished the latest Gregory Iles book, True Evil. Great book, love his writing style. | | | |

He has written a lot of books. If I was going to read one to see if I like it, which one should I read?

What a great book. It is much like the Stand but maybe even more bleak. Great characters.

| | I've been checking out some of the Submarine thrillers, most recently by Michael DiMercurio (e.g. Voyage of the Devilfish) and Mark Joseph (e.g. To Kill the Potemkin). While Joseph's works are more dated, they are better written. | | | |

I highly recommend all his books. Try The Quite Game to start, then maybe Mortal Fear. They are so well written.
