Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman.  Very cool book.  Great fantasy novel.  Loved his previous stuff.

Just finished “Faust” by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. From a personal stand point I find this medium very difficult to read. However, the book was well written. Not sure I can recommend it or not.
I haven't read Faust so, I'm not sure if this is applicable to Goethe or not, but I read that up to the 1840's or so, a lot of literature was written by writers who studied Latin. As a result, their writings appear and read awkard due to the Latin sentence construction, which they adopted when writing in their own language. I have a problem reading Jane Austen, which I attribute to this.

The Billionaire's Vinegar - after reading this you might never think the same way about wine auctions again. A light and entertaining non-fiction read.

Legend: An Event Group Thriller by David Lynn Golemon - a nice, keep you on the edge of your chair thriller. Follow on to "Event", also good.

My first book on the Kindle - the Omnivore's Dilemma

Love my Kindle!  My first was Neverwhere.  Loved Omnivore - it changed my life and how I want to eat and feed my family.  After that you should read either "What to Eat' or "Twinkie Deconstructed", both very good.

"24/7: Living It Up and Doubling Down in the New Las Vegas" by Andres Martinez.

A lighthearted look at Las Vegas in 1998 (so, pre-Venetian) and with $50,000 in traveler's checks to gamble with, most of it is his advance from the publisher that hopes a best-seller will come of this.

It's nice to know that you can put casino chips in the collection plate at Guardian Angel Cathedral.

When You Are Engulfed in Flames by David Sedaris.

Next up: Billionaire's Vinegar

That is, if I can break away from Rock Band on the PS3 long enough to read.

Just finishing up Skeletons on the Zahara, by Dean King - WOW, what a story! Disturbing, stunning, true story of the survival of the crew of the brig "Commerce" in 1815.  A great, but absolutely appalling, read.  Highly recommended, but only if you have a strong constitution.

“The Coldest Winter” by David Halberstam. Amazingly there are not that many books on the Korean War as compared to the much larger set of reading available on the Vietnam War. If you’re looking for one of if not they most comprehensive books on the subject of the Korean War then this book is for you. Clocking in at a little over 650 pages in the hard cover edition this weighty tome covers everything from the battles to MacArthur’s effect before, during and after the war, the Soviets influence, China’s Role (ad nauseum) and on and on and on. Well written and thorough to beat the band I felt it dragged on at times but a decent read nonetheless.
