Scanning through VC right now, look out my office window and a nice size bear is 20 feet away in my back yard. Guess I better go find my dogs.

Make that two bears.

I'd say you probably brought the dogs inside if they were out there. I just dodged a deer in my driveway but that's not quite as exciting.

We had our first bear sighting two weeks ago - about a 350-400 lb. black bear. It was garbage day and before sunrise - I guess he was hungry. Don't have any experience with bears - someone told me we should carry a whistle when we walk the dog early morning as bears don't like loud noise.

Feeding bears is stupid. It's asking for trouble. They're wild animals.

No panties in a bunch here- just responding to a ridiculous post that bore no indication of jocularity. Nice backpedalling.

ummm. Nicholas? are you having a bad day? again "a joke", one i thought was quite funny. She was trying to save you some face for being snippy on back to back responses and just let it blow over.

and Logic? there is plenty of humor out in the world that bears "no indication of jocularity" and that can be one reason it IS funny.

haha

That might be true in some cases, but here you're ignoring a long and storied history.

What this world needs is more jocularity.

I know, I have a great idea! Next time somebody posts about an elevated PSA count, why don't you post something funny like
