TJ, ever notice how much cheaper the gas is in Laurel than the rest of the area?

$1.79 for 87. But that is only one spot market station that always beats the competition. Actual "Brand Name" stations are in the $1.87-$1.94 range.

I'm dreading the notion that the car we have our eye on for our next purchase is a "Premium Only" car.

$2.11 for 87 octane.

I currently have a 110 mile round trip commute on LA fwys. Luckily, that will only last for another 9 weeks.

$1.89 for 89 octane. Pretty psyched about owning an SUV!!

Happy to say that the price of gas has NOT affected my wine purchases!

I had to do some math, but it's about $2.18 for premium down here.

Generally, yes, dw. Some stations are better than others but there is loads of competition. The Costco in Beltsville has better prices than the Costco at Arundel Mills (where I usually tank up).

I drive about 30k per year and gasoline purchases are becoming a serious business expense since I don't get reimbursed from any of my clients....just paid $2.16 for 89 octane in Fairfax, VA...earlier this week, gas 20 miles away in Occoquan, VA was $1.93 for the same 89 octane. It's crazy and makes no sense

I love my diesel right about now.

$1.699 per gallon. And I can drive on a tank almost two weeks. Of course it takes over $40 to fill the tank.

I noticed that alohaj hasn't posted here. I'll bet he would put us all to shame.

$1.96 for 93 octane. Dinwiddie and TJ, I think Laurel only seems cheap because the rest of the DC metro area is insane (at least downtown Rockville is insane). You gotta go to Northern Baltimore County to get the really good prices!

Regular (87) @ $2.19/gal. I noticed two of the other off-brand stations were up to $2.29.

This thread made me ask "just how much are we spending on gas in a month?" A check of the reciepts gave me the grim news; I spent $238 (22mpg) and my wife spent $212 (19mpg). $450!!! and that was at last month's prices.
