1999 Torii Mor Balcombe Vineyard PN
1999 Torii Mor Quail Hill Vineyard PN.
These are $48.99 locally and was wondering if they are worthy of purchase at that price. Thx.

| I haven't had either of these, but I have had the 99 Torii Mor "Amelia Rose" and thought it was very good juice. From what I've been told, 1999 was a transition year for the winery. Patty Green made the wine, but then left to open her own winery. Joe Dobbes (Willamette Valley Vineyards) did the blending and so forth.
I generally don't pay that much forany Oregon Pinot Noir. There are generally other great wines available here that cost less (like almost anything). I suspect your market may be different. | |
