| I had the 1992 Mt. Eden regular Cab (not the Old Vine Reserve) recently, here are my notes:
Great dark color with a purplish edges and no sign of fading. Strikingly big, fruity nose showing great cassis and earthy notes. The palate doesn’t quite live up to what the aroma seemed to offer, but still quite nice with leather, mineral notes in a decidedly tannic frame. 90 points. | | | |

| | Its been a few years since I had the wine. I rated it in the high eighties. Its not mature yet. Parker's estimate is more accurate imo. Mount Eden Cabs can last and improve for decades. | | | |
