| The 1974 Heitz Martha's Vineyard Cabernet was supposed to be great.........rated WS:97 RP:98, something like that.....but they also came out with a Pinot Noir that year. So, has anyone ever had it or know anything about it? It would have to be extremely well made to still be any good. Let me know. Thanks!

| | I had it about 5 years ago at a dinner at Martha's. At least for that bottle, there was not any there there. | | | |

| Had it half a dozen times. It's a rich wine with great depth and complexity that's tasted ready to drink for twenty years.
That comment applies to the Martha's Cab. | | | |

| | Jester, are you asking just about the pinot, or the cabernet also? | | Cheers, y'all | |

| | I would be shocked if it is still drinkable. | | | |

| I was asking about the Pinot. I had not seen it before, and was only aware of the Cab. I saw the Pinot yesterday and wondered if anyone had tasted it.

| | I have drank 1974 Heitz Martha's twice over the past 5 years, both out of Sparks cellars in Manhattan. Both btls were absolutely sensational!!!!!!!!!!! | | | |
