I know it hasn't been released but would like to know if any critics have tasted it yet. I will be receiving a futures offer from Phelps next month.

Parker gave it 90-93 pts. Maybe you should ask over at the WS site. I'm sure that Phelps already sent DRAB his allotment of grapes which he has no doubt consumed.

Parker gave the 03 Insignia 91 points. I bet that will come up a tad.

LOL. I'm guessing the 2004 Insignia will carry a hefty price tag after the success of the 2001 and 2002 and the #1 WOTY from WS. If I go by Parker's points, I'll probably pass. Besides, my cellar runneth over.

The 2001 (23 750s and 2 double mags) and 2002 (6 mags and 1 750) should last me for quite a while, once I start on them in several years.

I tend to agree. While my inventory doesn't look like yours, I have enough '01 and '02 Insignia to make skipping the '03 and '04 vintages and easy choice. If after tasting I change my mind, I am sure that Wine Library will sell the wine for $5 to $10 over the futures price as they always have.

The amounts of the 2001 and 2002 are uncharacteristically large for me. I got great deals on the wine.
