| I received these as a gift recently  and was curious as to whether any of you had anything positive ( or negative ) to say about them. I am fairly familiar with most Southern Rhone wines, yet have not tasted even close to as many of them as I would have liked. On the other hand, I am not very familar with Flora Springs or St Clement, although I have heard here and there that the Orropas is generally a quality wine. Toss me a tasting note and/or your personal aging recommendations if you happen to have them. Thanks so much!

| | i had the 2001 clos des papes on release. powerful and very tannic, with all the stuffing do be an outstanding bottle of wine. i would not touch until 2011 at the earliest. | | | |
