Picked these 4 up and was curious as to which one to try first and the expected drinking windows.

2003 M2 Vintners Cabernet Sauvignon Clone 6 Allen Vineyard
2002 M2 Vintners Dos Arkies (What is the blend on this one?)
2003 M2 Vintners Petite Sirah/Syrah Herzog Vineyard
2003 M2 Vintners Syrah Perry Creek Vineyard

the clone 6 is the most age worthy.
the dos arkies is 33% cab/50% syrahs/17% petite sirah
the PSS is massive and is drinking well now
the PC syrah is also drinking nicely now too

does this help??

The Zin is drinking great now. Never had the CabShiraZen. The Syrah is very nice with an hour or so decant.

I'm currently enjoying the 2003 M2 Vintners Petite Sirah/Syrah Herzog Vineyard. Per renegade16'ss recommendation I decided to open this one. Deep purple, loads of dark fruit, spice, an some earthiness to it. Loads of dry, dusty tannin(which I love), with a finish that just doesn't stop. There wasn't a whole lot left for Holly by the time she made it home from the gym.

David,

Chris mentioned that he thought the Perry Creek Syrah was drinking well. I almost popped that one instead.

Let the '03 Perry Creek Syrah rest, the tannins are pretty big right now, but the potential is there...

My 4-pack from M2 hasn't shown up yet, so I'm waiting to try them.

The Cabshirazen became "Dos Arkies" in 2002. As the name suggests, it's a Cab/Syrah/Zin blend. I had some at Renegade's house back in Jan of this year and it was bangin. That and the Zin are the most approachable now. The Syrah is good after an hour or two decant, but will probably really open up after a year or two. I still have some of the 2002's and they are FANTASTIC!

I've got a few 2003's for trade in the Commerce forum if anyone is interested in trying some out.
