I've noticed that the 2004 MP Sarah's blend and Shiraz are out and they're substantially cheaper than last year (This year: $12.99/bottle).

Anyone try them yet?

The 2003s scared me away. I'll have to read some good reviews before I chance the 2004s.

I may pick up a few. They're fun to drink with non-winos, and occasionally, you get a real good one!

The only bottling I found drinkable is the Sarah's bottle. That was the 02 vintage. And, even that bottle, I found only "drinkable". The rest of those (cab, merlot, regular shiraz), I found to be barely drinkable or undrinkable.

No interest @ all from me.

Plenty of sub $15.00 wines out there that I find more enjoyable for those non-wino events.

Budman,

You've tasted the 04's? How do they compare to 01's and 02's?

WN - I was talking MP in general. I haven't tasted the 04s yet, but I'm guessing they're better than the 03s!

That's a vintage I skipped (almost) entirely in Australia. Too many 01's and 02's in the basement.
