| Just had this Friday night. Did a quick double decant as I thought the cork showed sediment, but was wrong.
I think this is my first "real" TN, so take it with a grain of salt.....
My wife and I agreed that this was a good, nice casual drinking wine. Not overly complex, but a great dark cherry, plum fruit forward wine. Tannins were a nice compliment to the fruit, but didn't overpower it. No real evidence of secondary flavors or spice, etc. I recorked it and brought it back to the cellar. Finished it last night and it still held up well, secondary characteristics showed up as did more oak. I would put it in the 88-89 range.
Great QPR and is worth a try. I paid $20 at Costco and it was well worth it and I will buy more next time I am there. | | Mike Coutu Addicted to Wine

| Well done note Elkiholic. Be sure to post it in the TN section also. About this Cabernet from Paso Robles... I will not comment on it. Tbirdbase should chime in here for another positive review unlike one that I would post. | | | |

| Anything with Cabernet Sauvignon and or Merlot.
They make very nice Syrah and Rhone-style wines there.
Drink up with pleasure. You can say that shithead davidn has no idea what he is talking about as you drink it.

| i probably will and for the most part i agree with you. up until the 2002 justin cab i just ordered i didn';t own any wine from that region. i bought it based on 3 things. suggestion from a retailer, parker's notes and its cheap. i have gone through a lot of wine recently with neighbors and friends and i needed to replenish the lower end. | | | |

I try the wine every year at a local shop that always has a Justin tasting. I do admit there must be some latent phobia in there that makes my tounge swell or something. I wonder if it could have anything to do with fire?

Yeah, yeah... you've been promising that for two years now.
