I was dreading waking up this morning to find it wasn't working yet..... *phew*

yes we did lose power out here. I was stuck in the tube for about 45 minutes before I could get out, then had to walk home about 2 miles in the rain! But at least I wasn't sitting in a lift without lights or power like a few hundred people!

such is london. First damn day or rain since I got here and of course it's the day the power goes out and nukes the tube. The rest of the city was back up and running fairly quick, but the tube is just like the NY subway, you can't just turn it back on and have everything working right.
