Excellent!!!

You are correct, Rev, it is not worth your time.

For those of you that never met Revlis, he is a nice guy. Too nice (may be). He would never say anything bad about a person. But, since I am known to speak my mind & not mix words, I will say it. You have to be a big-time LOOSER to take the time to do that. What a life you must lead...

And, all that work on the weekend no less (for nothing). Hahahaha...

I can't comment on who rates people because the last time I did, the moderator contacted me and removed the post. I would be willing to put up cash money on the perps. I'm sure that the data is available to the sites owner.

Funny but I'm sure I could name exactly who did it. Anyone want to bet me?

Just kidding Rev. It's time they went for the same reasons I stated last time. Good show.

In a moderated forum, I don't think stars are required. If the forum runs wild like the WF Forum, then stars can be a way of getting a message to a forumite.

Stars are silly and serve no useful purpose except on a clear night in Montana lying on your back. Purge them all.

Guys, I swear, I never saw Stars as close as in Tahiti. MY G-D, you can grab 'em. My wife & I were walking along the shore @ night (the 1st night) & I said, "why is it so bright?".

My wife says, "look up". They are HUGE, Gorgeous. As big as... I still say, no more romantic place in this world...

Jeremy, did you notice that (when you were there).

Try the Okavanga Delta with a Cohiba and Warres at midnight. And listen to the hippos make some sort of noises out of every single orafice they have. Ahhhh!

That is saying something, LCC. Maybe I'll just have to go see for myself!

LCC,
Yeah they seem incredibly close in Tahiti. I'm not sure why but I completely agree. The moon is huge in Tahiti but the biggest I have ever seen it was in Syria out in the dessert. Amazing. It seemed to fill up half the sky. Never worked out why but man it was huge.

There is a very good book out called "Bad Astronomy" that talks about many of the common myths (like the moon looking bigger at the horizon) and explains what is really going on. Good chapter on the people who thing that the moon landings were faked. Fun read and very informative.

The best place to see stars/galaxies on a cloudless light is where there is no ambient/distracting lights from civilization. That means deserts, mountains, oceans. Not resorts, cities. Maybe an airplane??
