| I'm betting this will go down as one of the all-time great dinners and not just because of the people, who comprise an unbeatable group. There are just so many good Zinfandels that we might not find a wine score below the 90's. tt, I'd suggest we drive out together, except that my wife and I will be visiting her father the next morning. | | | |

| I am in, A few issues I have, I don't know if I'm one or two. My wife does not drink wine, and she is affraid she'll feel out of place I feel bad for her because I know where she's coming from, it could feel a bit awkward when everyone is talking wine and you can't participate. Also, I don't have any Zins right now that anyone would consider mind blowing or rare. Frankly, I don't drink wines of that pedigree very often. At the same time, I don't want to let down any of my fellow forumites with a bottle that would be considered as less then spectactular . I am very excited to meet you all. TCK | | | |

| tck - Have no fear. If my wife comes (which she's planning on), she doesn't drink either.
I'll keep you updated.
Also - definitely don't worry about what bottle you bring. EVERYTHING is a learning experience.
And don't worry - we will talk about other things than wine! | | | |

| TCK and Short- If both of your wives are not drinking- then maybe you could get together and each bring a bottle of the same wine! ...Let me know!

| Jazin - Never mind. No need to clarify. TCK and I will work it out offline. ojeffso - Does that mean you're not bringing your bottles of Martinelli Jackass Hill? | | | |

| Short- yes, to clarify- you and TCK would each bring one bottle of the same wine. Thats all you would need to bring...but if by chance you have a dessert wine you want to bring- feel free- only have a couple so far. We don't have OJeffso's Zin yet- anxiously awaiting it, though.
