| The theme is usually "I can drink more than you can." Stemor is the three time champ.
We like an eclectic mix. Much like the attendees. I for one would love to taste some samples.

| Absolutely! I will wait for HDW to give us the definites as far as times but perhaps we should start confirming ourselves as it is less than one month away. I will be there with my husband and my best friend will be driving in from Las Vegas. Pinot Envy--3 | | | |

| Brian, It will probably be at a restaurant called "Chateau Chang" in Victorville, CA. This restaurant is right next to HDW's wine shop and are closed on Sundays ... so they serve us wine-o's solely and take great care of us. IIRC, dinner usually winds up about $40 all inclusive including desert. I have driven up from Ontario the last two times and find it to be only about a 45 minute drive, assuming traffic is flowing well through El Cajon Pass. Here's the location of HDW's shop: HDWE | | | Cheers, y'all | |

| I believe Glen has worked out menu selections with Changs. I could be wrong but I think it is posted on the WS site. | | | |

| I'm there with bells on.
And to my good friend Tbird..... Sometimes spit is better than swallow.
In all good fun, I look forward to seeing you all again. There is just one thing that is left to figure out though, who will take the mantle of organization of the next offline? I'm willing to do one a year but thats about all I can handle.
P.E., G.A. and H.D.W. have all had a shot at it, any volunteers for the next one?

| ga, i'm all over it! i'm going to santa ynez this weekend. "the vineyard house" has always been very good to me, and they have a $5 corkage. i'll be having dinner there this saturday night to see if they can accomodate us on a saturday evening. do you think a day/weekend in santa ynez is too far for most people to go?
oh yea, that spitting thing just goes against everything i've ever known! i have to figure out something better out.

| If you want to do a day/weekend in Santa Ynez, I'd love to co-ordinate with the group to do some barrel tasting at my winery in Buellton. I might also be able to get some other wine-type folk to attend dinner (Wes Hagen from Clos Pepe, James Ontiveros from Rancho Ontiveros and Bien Nacido, Peter Cargasacchi, etc) or provide for other touring opportunities. | | | |

| Sounds good to me. I could use a weekend out of town and away from buisiness.
Brian, I think you should wait to meet us at the Victorville offline before you decide to introduce any of us to your friends and associates! ROFL!
