Got it. For now then, just the 2 of us.

If some drop out or we can add, I have people that would love to come. Until then, I will keep my mouth shut.

Understood.

I guess I'm assuming 1 bottle per person, 2 per couple as standard. There are wines in my cellar with only 1 or 2 total; those will be excluded.

They don't have to necessarily be excluded if you only have a couple. We may be able to piggyback them with something from someone else's cellar to make enough for everyone to enjoy.

jb,

I've got some constantly shifting plans right now, so I can't promise you that this won't change ... I am already definitely in for 1, please shift me up to "2". I'll let you know ASAP when and if Anita can't make it.

Cheers, y'all

jb, what ahppened at last year's June 15th dinner, is that some people made trades or bought wines from others so that we had enough of each wine for an entire course. I was actually amazed at how easy people made it. I had anticipated a lot more difficulty. The Champagne was sort of a problem, so we bought it.

I must recieve your check by 9/10/03 or your spot is open to anyone. Please do send them in as early as possible. It will give me more time to figure out the wine situation.

jb, just a suggestion for one course. A number of the 1990 Bordeaux are entering their prime drinking period now. Not the St. Estephes, but many of the others. I believe many of us are well-stocked on the 1990 Bordeaux. We might be able to get a number of the same one for a course.

I think '90 Bordeaux would be a fantastic idea. I will work on that angle as soon as possible.

jb -

Please remove my name from the attendance list. I may be up for the golf adventure when details become more clear.

Board-O,

I'll be working (Saturdays) then - it's always hard for me to get away during the weekend in October-December.
