| jb... Maybe you can convince Doctor Bressler to not only attend but to personally deliver our allocations of his 2000 cab (signed, of course). | | | |

| JB...
For those of you who frequent NYC, is there any way you could identify a hotel or two that might be willing to give us 'out-of-towners' a group rate???That way, the forumites attending the dinner might actually be able to hook up easily both before and/or after the dinner/outing for spontaneous craziness (guess who I'm thinking of!).
It may not be feasable, but I just thought I'd ask. | | | |

| Mrs. TJ already pricelined us way down near where the World Trade Center used to be at an Embassy Suites for $125/night. We're staying for three nights to make a mini-getaway of it. heh heh And, I do not think that our hotel locations will be TOO much of a problem in getting folks together before/after the big thing. | | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com | |

| FYI (for all): If any one out there that is coming is interested in any Shows, let me know & I will see if I can get them 1/2-price. Usually I can get a lot of shows 1/2-price. | | | |

| LCC, are you talking Broadway, or shows of a different and more personal nature? | | | Cheers, y'all | |

| Broadway & likes. Sorry. Cannot help with those "other"-type shows. Will have to do on your own. | | | |

| For the latter type, just walk the streets and observe in several parts down town. | | | |

| jb-
Is the plan to bring our own wines or to order there?
If the former, I presume that for this we are to bring our best, roughly how many do you estimate per person?
I realize this is early, but given the apparent number of diners eg 45 or so now, and perhaps 60 at final count, even with 6 pours per 750, finding 10 or more bottles of great stuff may require extra planning or effort for many of us. I don't remember how ojeffso resolved this in June, if I recall combining 3 people to bring X wine to get nX, and others reimbursing them, but at the higher end wines fewer people may have supplemental bottles to bring.
Don't mean to waste your summer time here, but there are 2 months to go and you know Board-O's motto, "Waste not, want not.".

| LCC and all... Dinner is being capped at 50 people. We could fit more, but I think that the wine logistics will be very difficult if we go beyond that number. As such, I would like to leave the dinner open to as many VC members as possible. Some of you have requested to bring yourselves, spouses and another couple as a group of 4. Right now, I will accept that. Going beyond that might significantly reduce the number of VC attendees and that is really the reason for this dinner. So to answer your question, LCC, 4 as a total is OK. 10 is not. Sorry, my man. If people start to drop out, I will create a wait list and allow additional people at dinner. Dr. T... Yes, we will be supplying our own wines. Once I recieve your payment, you can pm me possible wines you could supply for the evening. I plan on starting this process next week. We are going to have 4 courses. We will have a white flight, a Pinot Noirflight and a Cab Sauvignon flight. We will also have assorted dessert wines/stickies/ports. FIRST THINGS FIRST! SEND IN YOUR CHECKS TO THE ADDRESS ABOVE IN MY LAST POST! JB | | | |
