| Chris,
I have a bottle of 2003 (last one). Will try to hold it in case I clear the wait list.

| Its really unfortunate about the timing of this event because so many of the original attendees can't attend (more than half of the original attendees by my count). I've just realized I can't attend either because July 19th is Vintage Affaire (a fairly large charity wine auction: www.vintageaffaire.org) and Jones Family will be pouring at the event. | | | |

Dan, sorry, I didn't see this post until I just e-mailed you. My wife must have been looking at this thread and didn't tell me...my browser indicates where there are new messages and since there hadn't been any for several days I assumed nobody had posted. I agree with you that the timing on this is not looking good. However, there will never be a time that is good for everybody....and I have to work around Michael's schedule. It's either pick a date and do it or don't do it at all. The former is the better alternative. With that being said, I will give it a few more days and if I can't fill this with at least 24 people then I'll cancel the event and move it to late in the fall after harvest. If I do that I'll go back to the original list of folks and whittle my way down.

| No need to apologize at all: logistics are always difficult. Thanks for taking the lead on this event. I didn't get your email. Did you send it through this site or direct to my email address?

| Dan, I sent it through the site. The only reason I've not moved more up from the waiting list is I'm waiting for a few uncomfirmed folks to confirm first. If anybody knows the folks who haven't confirmed please ask them to make a decision. Thanks! Chris | | | |

| Chris...I have to apologize, but something has come up and I will not be able to make this date. Although this is an opportunity of a lifetime, we will not be able to make it that weekend due to family obligations.
If you all decide to reschedule, please put me on the wait list again.
PS: It has been too long since we have spent time with y'all. Perhaps an offline sometime later in the summer?

| This is getting close to being canceled at this point. I can't get others to even chime in, and the wait list is nearly empty. I'm also gone for two weeks before this happens, so planning who is going to bring what wine is going to be a problem. Let me work with Michael and find a free date after harvest. It will be much easier to snag rooms and work on a dinner that way. Unless I get a sudden influx of participants in the next few days, I'm shutting this down. Sorry to those that have committed. If you wish to do a special KB tasting that day, we can keep it open. I'm sure I can convince Michael to break into the library again....;-)

| Regretfully, we won't be able to attend either. As much as we'd love to, the logistics don't work out that weekend.
Here's hoping we can pull this off at another date!

| Chris,
I'm heading to Europe for two weeks on vacation, and I wanted to finalize my Las Vegas trip before I left. Given the uncertainty of this event, I'll be returning straight home from Vegas and won't be stopping off in Sonoma on the way. A long-winded way of saying please take me off the wait list.
Thanks for all your efforts in trying to pull this together. If you end up moving it to later in the year, after harvest, put me on the list.

| No problem Scott. At this point I'm waiting to see if those who have said they could make it want to simply do a tasting with Michael that day. I'm already looking to move the full vertical to late fall. I may try to combine it with the Freeman Dinner, and do this the day after. We shall see! Chris
