Somehow, I don't think that ScottJ will be able to extend his visit by a week!  Let's see if we can gather a critical mass on the 10th for our out-of-town guest.

I am no help.  I have a meeting at church on the 10th.  Any others?  Alex and Julie together at one time?

15th to the 18th are no good for me. Ditto for the 23rd and 27th. Unless my calendar is out of whack, I think I am open otherwise.

Cool.  So one potential taker for the 10th.Â

it will be touch and go for me on the 10th (i.e. 11th hour decision). i have no set conflict, but if Julie has had a bad day with the baby it will not be in my best interest to go out for the night.

Sooooo....where do things stand regarding dinner in September? Has critical mass been achieved for September 10th or will it be later in the month?

I think we're all a bust for September it seems. Got too busy at work and stuff.

Should we start over and think about October instead?

Since no took the bait that the PoolBoy threw out to the DC Cru, I figured that I'd bite. So who's up for something in October? What time of the month works for everyone? I'm not good for the week of October 15th but the rest of the month is pretty open. T-Rep

Hey T-rep - I'd be up for something in October. I say you pick three days and see what the response is - Generally Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays generally work the best for me. I'll try my very best to make it - it's been a while since I've seen you and Sandra!

Since nobody has taken the bait and thrown out a date, I guess I will.Â

If we want to do a weekend, Saturday, October 20 is the best for me.  If we want to do a weekday, how about Thursday, October 18th?  I'm also good on the 19th?  I plan to be out of town ON VACATION (yeah!!) the following week.

I'd really like to see the Crü again, it's been way too long.

I LOVE these threads!  Some inside the Beltway planning.

Poster 1: I can't do the week of the 15th.

Poster 3: How about October 18th?

Poster 2:  Weekdays work best for me.

Posters 3&4: How about Saturday October 20th (knocking out 1&2)?

we don't all have to be at every single one... do 2 small ones... i was thinking about having the burgers and chicken (or steak etc.) thing again before the weather gets too cold. Penn is easier to plan around at the house obviously. if we find a noisey place we might be able to swing bringing him.

Nice to see that there's been some movement on getting a date going...

I'm out of town from October 15th through the 19th doing trade shows in Greenville, SC/Greensboro, NC/Richmond and then Norfolk, VA. Mrs. T and I are on our way to a wedding in Boston from Octo 19-21, so we're out if those are the dates.

I guess we'll just have to wait until November....

Darn, T-Rep, you travel too much (occupational hazard I guess).Â

PoolBoy, maybe we can get together on the 20th.  If Jamietown can do that weekend it would be great to see him again, and where is the Corkster?  And Dave made a comment, but didn't say if he was available/willing to get together.

I'm actually free all that week, but Friday or Saturday night work best since the wife will be occupied then and I'm at loose ends.  The following week I'll be out west enjoying a well deserved vacation in NM.  This weekend the kid is home from school and I want to spend some time with him, of course he'd be more than happy to help us drink some wine.

Dinwiddie, East is East and West is West.  You are in the group of 2-3 that meets on Saturday, and I am in the group of 2 that meets mid-week!

I don't mind meeting mid-week, it just makes it hard to get up the next day.Â

The past couple of months have been very hectic, and this one is too.  I'm willing to meet during the week, but on the 16th I'll be driving the kid back to school.  Wednesday-Saturday are good next week for me, just that Fri and Sat are the best since the wife is at a "thing" those days.

I propose a short hiatus until Alex's SQNs get delivered.  Then, let's meet weekly.
