| Brad,
I'm bringing 6 Burgundy glasses Brad.....hopefully a few of the other locals will do the same. You shouldn't have to bring your own stemware. First 4 people to hit me up Saturday morning get them for the weekend!

I am paying for all costs listed with my credit card, including the dinners. This avoids the hassle of having them run a dozen credit cards. I should be able to swing it with my limit....just hope they don't freeze my card due to all the activity!
Chris
Wow, a bit risky! Okay then. Funny thing, I just today got a bunch of cash for the weekend for the very reason on not having to deal with CCs at dinner! lol.
I honestly can't imagine anybody from this group bouncing a check on me....
If you want to pay with cash that's fine....we can just throw it in with the credit card. However, it might just be easier to write a check now since you know the exact costs (that better be the exact costs!)...
Speaking of costs....Papapietro-Perry called today to advise they were waiving their tasting fee. Good work DavidN!

| Should I plan on packing some flutes? I can't imagine drinking great Champagne without the proper stemware!

| Hey guys, I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the ol' Saut will not be able to join you this weekend. My uncle was set to go home from the hospital yesterday and when he got out of bed, he ruptured his aorta and passed quite violently in front of his whole family. It is one of the most tragic stories I have ever heard.
As much as I would like to be with you all, and have been looking forward to this for months, we will likely be going to scenic Cleveland tomorrow instead. It is sad all around.
Chris: I need you to PM me your address so I can get you a check for the two dinners and two bus trips (for two people). If anyone knows someone that would like to come along at the last minute, they will be my guest. I will be happy to make any other contributions to cover our part.
Again, my apologies, and I hope to see you at another offline soon.
Best,
Saut | | | |
