I hope not. I was planning on slacks and a button-down shirt for Sunday night. I was figuring jeans for Friday and Saturday. If this won't work, let me know
Scott

I am doing jeans or khakis Fri/Sat with slacks and a casual jacket on Sunday.
So you won't be alone.

Papapietro-Perry will charge the $5 tasting fee but it can be used as a credit on wine you may want to buy.

Greg Walters will be coming to dinner with us at Willi's.

Moshin is about 15 minutes away.

If we want to go there it would be nice to know how many people it would be

Healdsburg to Moshin Winery

Oh, I wanna be there.
OH, I wanna be there!

This is too good to be true.
Prove it in pictures for the rest of us!!

Have a wonderful time!!

(jealous hat on and talking to self) cms...do not covet, do not covet, do not covet, sincerely mean it when you say you hope they have a wonderful time without you.
Oh Wait! They don't even know you, yet.

You could be one of the mystery guests!

Is there anybody that would desire to do Healdsburg instead of Moshin on Sunday afternoon? Please let us know if so. If nobody speaks up, we'll just plan on Moshin for everybody. Thanks!

Anything in particular you folks want to taste at our place? Let me know your thoughts and I'll try and pull the wines!

Adam,

I know you didn't make much, but how about the Amber Rose? I think I only bought one bottle, so it would be nice to try this without having to kill my single.

Also, you had a bunch of 05 Syrah's in tank last time I was there (couple of months ago)...and they were all tasting wonderfully....I'd love to try these from bottle.

Thanks Adam! See you Sunday!

Here is a breakdown of the costs for dinners and transportation:

Willi's Wine Bar: $63.43/person, all inclusive

Freeman Caves dinner: $125/person, all inclusive (18% gratuity based on food price)

John Ash dinner: $102.08/person, all inclusive

Bus: $45/person per day (this includes a 20% gratuity)

Sandwiches: $5.00/each

I figure we'll each pay cash for the tasting at Papapietro-Perry as well as the taxi's to/from Willi's and John Ash.

Please figure out what you owe and make checks out for Chris Peterson. Please no cash! I don't want to be carrying around a ton of money all weekend.

See you all soon!

Chris,

Do any of the payments go directly to the Restaurants at the time we dine? Or are you paying everything up front, including all three dinners?

I assume that we are in the cave at Freeman? That might suggest a sweater....

I am paying for all costs listed with my credit card, including the dinners. This avoids the hassle of having them run a dozen credit cards. I should be able to swing it with my limit....just hope they don't freeze my card due to all the activity!

We are in the cave at Freeman. Dan told me current temps in there are around 50F, so yes, a sweater is a good idea. We will have three heaters spaced around the tables, so if you are by a heater you should be ok.

Still think it's a good idea to bring our own glasses? Not sure I have the right packaging for that.

Wow, a bit risky! Okay then. Funny thing, I just today got a bunch of cash for the weekend for the very reason on not having to deal with CCs at dinner! lol.

Should I bring two bottles of the same wines so that everyone gets a good taste?

Or do I bring one bottle and we have twice as many different wines?
