| This is my first time reading this thread. I'd love to join everybody! My vote is for Sonoma.
Using priceline.com for Santa Rosa and 3 stars consistently gets you a Hilton Hotel room for $50/night, and it's close to everything. Based on the priceline deal, I can likely negotiate a block of rooms in advance. I'll be doing the priceline thing again today since we'll be up there this weekend....so I can actually start talking to them if we can reach any sort of consensus on timing and location.
Of course, Sonoma is easy for me to say since I live just two hours away, but if we are voting thats my vote. The best wineries and atmosphere in wine country are in Sonoma County!

Sounds like a good date to me! Any objections to my trying to coordinate a block of rooms? Are we talking two nights.....27th and 28th for most people? How many people would be interested?

| As an FYI, Hospice du Rhone is the following weekend in Paso Robles (may be either a + or a - with respect to April 28th for some folks).

| Al, sounds like a good reason for some to make it a week long trip! Right?

Yep, out-of-state folks that are interested in HdR might want to make a week+ of it. I'll probably already be bouncing around the Central Coast during the week leading up to HdR.

| President's weekend was thrown on the table already.....just didn't seem that anybody jumped on it.
I'm local, so I'm cool with any date up until May!
I'd like to discuss with David a bit, but I think it would be very cool if we could snag the smaller dining area at the Farmhouse Inn for our group for dinner one night. I think if I talk with them about it early enough they may be willing to accommodate us if we guarantee to spend a certain amount per person. They have a newish policy that requires reservations over 4 to spend at least $75/person.

| President's Day weekend works for us. If you have 22 or 24 people, you can reserve Mirepoix for the evening. | | | I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it. | |

Uh, that would be President's Day? <snort snort snort laughing through my nose>
February 19, 2007 for the calendar challenged.
P.S. I'll let the group pick...me or Bella Donna. | | | Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone. | |
