As long as Katy isn't pregnant again...

Is this open to anyone? I can bring a wine on the list.

Oh... and I'd like to bring 2002 Robet Foley Claret and 2002 Pride Reserve if that's possible. Last year there weren't a lot of choices on what I could bring, so I'm trying to speak up early this year

As I recall it was on the list but because of a late change we had the Rudd instead.
I'll add it to the suggestion list.

Dave!

You da man. Thanks for taking this on. Please count me in for 2, we will make plans to be there (hope there is room).

Saut

PS: Is this all red or do you need others as well, like a white or dessert wine? I've not been to one of these, so would like to know. Thx.

I think it is traditional for Skwid to cover the bubbly and Davidn to cover the sticky.

Well since Mark Neal (can I really argue with him on this one) has offered up the Neal, I'll swap the Wykoff for a bottle of 02 Bressler to go along with the Lewelling Wight if that's OK. Or am I getting ahead of myself.

No harm in posting what you've got available. My options from stock are pretty limited too; I have Insignia and Monte Bello, but that's about it. Anything else I'll have to shop for.

Saut: Yes, there will be other wines than cab available.
As I recall, last year there was Gosset Rose champagne, Hartford Court 3 Jacks Chardonnay and a rather nice Darting Riesling.

So, any thoughts on dates? Do the two that were proposed work for everyone?
Or should we bring it forward?

Dave,
Wow. You've taken on one difficult task. I know, because last year I suddenly ended up with the task when I was in... New York!!! Additionally, I discovered the joys of working with a restaurant, people bowing in & out at the last moment, and covering the surprise extras at the end of the event... It was a ton of fun, absolutely an awesome evening... but fairly expensive for me

Put me down for x2 on whatever day. I'm sure I can help fill out the list. Let me know what restaurant you decide on

Cheers Randy. Yeah, that's why I'm insisting on agreeing a fixed price in advance. No surprise add-ons or extra corkages. Parcel 104 seemed to be okay with that, I think in part because Saturday is actually their quietest night. I'll see what the other places have to say.

I will be a single.

Need to firm up date soon. I know you Cab-heads don't care but the 10/28 date is the weekend of "Pinot on the River". If the event is then I will not be able to be there.

I think Parcel 104 has a great menu. I'm not sure though what wine I would pair with the cotton-candy intermezzo. BTW, if I get a vote, I like Pink the best.

I'll wait to decide on what wines to bring. I can probably fill some holes.

I declassified the '02 juice so there is no '02 cuvee Tricia.

What were the proposed dates? Sorry, I've looked back several pages but I just don't see it. I'm assuming late October?
