I'll be there. And earlier in the thread Alex said he and Julie would be there.

I guess I'll have to bring something to carry wine in since I have two bottles to give to C-Kat for his auction and I'm hoping James will have my Ramey.

Fred, what do you want me to bring? I was thinking of a 2001 Mitolo Shiraz G.A.M. or the 1995 Château Beau-Séjour Bécot.

Sorry about that Dave - so we've got 10 folks so far. The max party size for this event without a minimum is 12. Fred, do you want me to go ahead and contact Dean?

OK, I made a reservation for 12 at Dino at 730 pm - we're full, but if anyone drops out, Trep you get first shot.

Now, who's gonna bring what?

Maybe. NOT!

Seriously, I think we all need to throw caution to the wind and bring some amazing stuff to send off Fred in proper fashion.

Ok, 2003 Las Rocas de San Alejandro Calatayud Garnacha Viñas Viejas. The last two words make all the difference.

"Viñas Viejas" means grape juice in Spanish....what's the big deal?

It's their premium wine made from older vines. Equivalent to a Harlan Reserve if such a thing were made. Nothing but the best for you Fred.

No, really, I can't confirm yet! I definitely need to work that day, and it may run into the evening. My spot is up for grabs to anyone that is sure they want it

I don't know what to bring. Fred, got any preference for Spain, US, Italy, France, etc. I could bring a 1999 Mas Martinet Viticultors Priorat Clos Martinet if I don't bring the Beau Sejour
