I'm staying near Dupont Circle at the hotel on top of Firefly. But we should be able to reach anywhere in the DC metro area.

We are reserved at Palena at 7 under the name of Lafon Rochet, but I will confirm. I'd like to do a theme of Pinot Noir if that's ok with y'all.

I don't think you will have any problem with Pinot with this group

I am working hard to work this into the schedule. I can never be 100% on a work day, but I hope to be able to throw my hat in at about 90% sometime before Monday.

Try not to give away my spot before then!

I'll make a reservation for 4 for 2/15 tomorrow-- 7PM Ok with everybody? or do you want earlier for those who are coming from work-- I've got some of the Kosta-Browne 95 pointer from this year's WS top 100-- I may bring that or an old vine Grenache from Australia. Last chance for those on the fence as I'd like to make the reservation for 6. Thanks -- Norm

If we are going to do Pinot Noir, does anyone have any preferences? I still have a couple of bottles of the Martinelli '99 Reserve. I'd be willing to bring one of them. Otherwise, I was thinking of bringing one of the Dain's.

I agree 100% with one bottle per person. I need to get myself back to baltimore and get up for work at 4:30

If we are doing Pinot, I am going to bring a burgundy. Probably a 1999 Vincent Girardin Pommard 1er Cru "Les Rugiens".

And DW, I would LOVE to try the 99 Martinelli

Were the maybe's included in the reservation? If the reservation is only for four people, I don't want to have to sit on someone's lap

Raybanz, if it is like the last time we were there, you will have the place to yourself (you may need two tables though).

Ok, we have a reservation for 6 people at 7 p.m. Kesha will be a little late, but we can open white, perhaps and let the pinots breathe while she gets there. Palena's is aware that we're doing massive pinots.
