In an effort to get invited anyway, I am willing to sit on the lap of someone who has not previously attended a Corkgage dinner
And with ray providing the entertainment, it should be a night to remember.

I want pictures, and not those TJ pictures of just plates of food. Let's see some action shots (especially if Raybanz is lapdancing)

Mrs. TJ got a new digital camera for Xmas that is very small...small enough to pop in my shirt pocket. Perhaps we can get some action shots this time as requested. | | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com

I'll choose "taking it too far" for $200 Alex. | | | "It's better to have your enemies inside the tent pissing out, then outside the tent pissing in." -- Lyndon Johnson

The food may be compliments of Corkage, but the entertainment will cost you

If so, some other cru member can have my seat. I want to taste Corkage's food once...on the way down.
Now, I can't say that Mrs. Marty will give up hers though. She might bring a wad of singles. | | | "We are the Hokies!"

| Cab ride to and from the METRO is a good idea, but you guys are full and I was late in responding so I guess I'll have to live vicariously thru the pictures. I have to say that the one Corkage dinner I did attend was an absolute joy. Great food, great company and superb wines. | | | |

I'm hosting January 28. In an effort to get some DC Cru folks who have not previously attended a Corkage dinner, I'm am holding some spots.
Since I have had many chances to enjoy Corkage's cooking and hospitality, I am putting myself on the "maybe" list while the headcount for dinner gets figured out.
And if somebody gets my spots, they owe me big time

So that means you'll just stand, right?
Seriously, my hats off to both raybanz and JohnnyB. Very nice of you. Great gesture.
I admit it though, I am selfish foodie and you'll have to pry my out of my seat. | | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com

| OK here's what I have decided for a head count. If anybody cannot make it, please let me know. I'll probably reduce the headcount below 15 people if anyone bows out. For those who cannot attend January, I will host another dinner in February.
Corkage + 1 JohnnyB + 1 Dave + 1 AlexRed +1 Marty + 1 TJ +1 Raybanz + 1 Fred = 15 total

| I'll volunteer as well. The big question will be one bottle or two. I think that the latter may be better, but it will make the two coordinators' job more difficult. | | | |
