Unfortunately my October is already booked. I'm trying to get out to the East Coast in November however.
Sorry to hear that. I have a feeling that's going to be an issue with others as well already evidenced by JimmyV and PURPLE. | | | Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone.

| I fully understand. It's just my opinion that some people might be a little hesitant to commit without a better feel for the wine situation. That's all.

| Since I can't be there, perhaps my opinion is worthless. That said, I think that people who are undecided as to whether or not they will come until they have the wine situation worked out to the n-th degree are missing the point of the VC Anniversary Dinner. If the date were clear for me, I would commit even if the dinner were to be Alpo and sewer water. Well, maybe not. But you get my drift. | | | Beta testing a new signature. | |

| I think there would be more people signing up if the location were more convenient. | | | |

| Not at all T-Bird. It's a couple hours from Manhattan.
For those coming from out of town, I am more than willing to set up a "VinoCellar Bus" that will go from NYC to LBI. We would have to have a minimum # of people making that trip to make it possible. I'll set that up if there is interest.
I will have lodging possibilities in the next day or two. I'm on vacation this week, so I have a little time to devote to research.

| It looks like I will not be able to be their either but I'll see if I can move my calander around somehow. I'm sure if I did make it I would be a onesie.
How 'bout the prize drawing?
Since I was the (real) lucky winner last year I would like to donate a nice magnum of wine for one of the prizes. I will do this whether I can come or not.

| Hey, I am easily talked into these things. All I really need to know is a time & a place.
LCC: 2 (+ I usually travel with volunteers ).
I will get back to you with the total # as soon as I can.
P.S.: There are 3 pages to this thread that I prefer not to read again. What's the date again? And, the lodging situation? Thanks.
