| Can I bring a mystery wine? It'll be a medium body red. Can I bring a champagne? Corkage, I am not sure how rich the 1st course or two will be, but if I bring a champagne for the food, I was thinking an '88 Salon or a '96 Bollinger Rose (both pretty big sparklers). If I bring an apertif champagne, I will most likely go for a lighter style vintage or a NV. Rita and I are definitely both excited. Can't wait to see everybody and eat Corkage's cooking BTW, both my vino choices are subject to the requirements of the group. I can bring some box wine instead, just to show up Johnny | | | |

| Hey Corky-boy,..... What no cheese? Should we not bring cheese? I thought that was a defacto thing and I had this interesting new cheese to try out on you all (and me -- I have never had it). But, trust me, it'd be weird to pair.

| I'm not against cheese, just didn't feel like serving a course of it. I know we've come to rely on it so I don't really care...we can serve it immediately before dessert. I don't plan on buying any and haven't asked anyone to bring any. | | | |

My friend Rich and his wife will join us, along with a special friend from Bermuda who is flying in for dinner (he's done this before).

| Haven't really thought much about what to bring, but am likely to go the PN route. Ray, don't you usually bring about 6 bottles.... | | | "We are the Hokies!" | |

| Let's gather for a toast at 5:45pm.
Does anyone have a digital camera they can bring? Nicole lost our battery charger (but won't admit it).
Call or PM me with any questions or if you need directions.

| So here I am blissfully on vacation, getting on to VC to see how the event at Chez Corkage went last night, and NO comments yet??? Either I've missed it somewhere or there was a LOT of wine at last night's dinner and you're all super hungover....
In honor of the missed dinner, Mrs. T and I brought a bottle of 2002 Kistler Cuvee Catherine PN with us to Antigua and had it with dinner last night. A supurb bottle of wine...

| I know my skull was pounding a tad this morning. I must have forgotten to keep up with the water. D'oh.
I need raybanz to post the list of wines (he's the only note-taker). I can post comments from there.
I'll also post in more detail later, but the food was amazing (as always). I took pictures of every course and I'll post a link when I have them posted up to ofoto.
Many thanks to all who attended and shared wines and many thanks to Corkage & his wife for hosting us and feeding us and all. And an extra thanks to JohnnyB, too, who sous chefed.

| Thanks to the Corkages for hosting another great dinner. It's difficult to choose a dish of the night...the roasted corn soup was exceptional. The salmon with the roasted pepper and ginger sauce (right?) was amazing, and the wild boar was tender and delicious. And a malted milk shake with a side of pound cake french toast with a blueberry sauce was a great closer. Great job, Corkage.
Good company and great food and wine. Plus, I finally got to meet the TJs. | | | "We are the Hokies!"
