What to order? Do I ask the sommilloyster?
Sommiloyster. I love it!
When faced with the daunting task of choosing from so many oysters....I order lots of different ones. It's fun to try different types and see the differences. | | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com

So you take tasting notes? The names are difficult to remember; almost as bad as French wine. And I assume there are differences from year to year as well as within certain areas of the same bay or whatever.

I should take tasting notes, Pops. But no, I don't. Really Mrs. TJ and I just order lots and we try them all and we usually remember the top two or three we liked best to try to commit them to memory for future orders.... | | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com

The key word in your post is "try". It just doesn't work, at least for me, if I don't take notes.
I have the same exact problem with cheese.

I know Mrs. TJ will remember. She's got an amazing memory. | | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com
