Was it worth holding it for you guys? Sometimes I think we will finally open some truly mediocre wines after holding them for years+.

Actually, I think it did help. What I'm wrestling with at the moment is "how much longer?" I'm a little concerned about the acidity in this wine. Will it become more tart over the next few years? I saw flashes of that every so often last night. But in the meantime I think this wine was better last night than it was upon release. No doubt.
