| - 2000 Cristom Pinot Noir Reserve - Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA (8/6/2004)
Our last bottle of this wine. After a 30 minute decant this wine was extremely nice. Much of its overt fruit had faded leaving it still juicy but more Burgundian in character. We had it side-by-side with a burgundy and it had the spice, black cherry and minerals exhibited by good burgundies. Quite nice!(90 pts.) Posted from CellarTracker! | | | |

| Thanks for the update. A very large majority of the Oregon part of our cellar is Cristom. I have not opened one since the spring but I'll get out out to taste.

| The fruit has faded. There are some wonderful black currant and earth flavors. The wine is light in body and texture making it very food friendly, too. | | | |

| A very nice wine nuanced by subtle cherry and earth, along with some baking spice, and vanillan undertones. Nice acidity and finish. 89 points. | | | |

| Opened and drank last evening with leg of lamb. The nose is varietally correct and shows cherries, minerals, and spice. The palate shows tart cherry and some earth. Not a fruit bomb - elegant and well balanced. Good mouth feel and long finish. I would decant for about 1/2 hour. This should go another year or two. The alcohol is 13.5% and I paid $34. | | | I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it. | |

| Decanted about an hour and served with pork chops. I like this wine a great deal. The flavors are what I expereinced in the last bottle and it is doing just fine. I have a couple more and will drink them over the year or two. Aging them has helped. | | | I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it. | |

| Opened our last bottle of this wine last night. I was going to wait but the cork may have had a small leak. It did not disappoint and was just fine. It seems that the fruit is darker cherry, and the wine is showing more secondary flavors (minerals and earth). Doing fine now but will go another year or two. | | | I don't suffer from insanity.
