| I'm with Anthony. I have 17x750ml and two mags. I'm planning on drinking 2-3 of these very yougn and then letting them sleep for a while. There is loads of pleasure in these already. If I onyl had 6 or a case no way I would touch them. | | | |

| by the way, anyone that is tannin sensitive, don't even think about opening this. it has now been open 28 hrs and the tannin has yet to back down even a bit. the fruit is still as strong as when i opened it. anyone who has had qc can easily tell this a qc on steroids. | | | |

| well its now been opened for 52 hrs with no signs of oxidation. it is still wrapped up as tight as a drum. with a lot of swirling you start to make out some dark fruit, tobacco, grilled meat and some cassis. the flavor profile is very deep and the finish (i haven't timed it) seems to go on for at least a minute. what a great wine, that has already shut down imo. | | | |

| So Ant, do you still have some left? How long are you going to stretch it out? | | | |

| Just got six of these beauties (thanks DavidN!!!)! I am very excited and will let them sleep for a couple weeks until I have a "special occasion" and will have to "research" this project. | | | |

Opened on 7/2/04. Decanted about two hours before tasting. Initially this was very tight when opened as you might expect. I really enjoyed the dark chocolate notes along with the blackberry liqueur in the middle. Terrific mouthfeel, very plush. The rest is what Eric said in his review. Excellent, WOW wine but with a ways to go for aging.
Thanks to Blobby for sacrificing this 2001 QC for the Walla Walla Wine Campers enjoyment. | | | |
