1999 Longboard Vineyards RRV Rochioli Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon - great packaging of a poor quality wine

Jason, how was the 96 Maillard Corton Bressandes? I have had his Corton Renardes in many vintages and have always found it pretty impressive wine.

jb,

I will have to check with Bob, now that I think of it I think it was the Renardes and not the Bressandes. Very nice wine, everyone at the tables favorite of the night.

2005 Jones Family The Sisters Cabernet Sauvignon
2002 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon (not bad for a pre-school charity fund raiser)
Sine Qua Non Ox Pinot Noir (ready but there's no rush)
2005 Brewer Clifton Ashley's Pinot Noir (needs time)
2006 Cakebread Sauvignon Blanc (could have been worse)
NV Deux C (SB Viognier and Condrieu blend)
2005 Argyle Nuthouse Reserve Chardonnay (a value)
2006 Melville Pinot Noir Verna's (a decided value)
2005 Radio-Coteau Zinfandel (a very fine Zin)
2006 Peay Chardonnay Hirsch Vineyard
2005 Favia Pinot Noir (from magnum good but this wine presents like it is at least a decade older than it is.  I'd drink up immediately)
2004 Araujo Cabernet Sauvignon Eisele Vineyard

2006 Peay Vineyards Chardonnay Hirsch Vineyard
2006 Peay Vineyards Chardonnay (definitely drink the Hirsch up before tucking into the Estate)
2006 Peay Vineyards Pinot Noir Pomarium (best Pomarium yet - very pretty and feminine with good length)
2006 Peay Vineyards Pinot Noir Scallop Shelf (drink up the Pomarium first and give SS the time it needs to fully blossom)
2005 Peay Vineyards Syrah La Bruma (quite aromatic with lots of black pepper notes)

ricky: how is the 97 Etude coming along. I assume no rush, unless you tell me diferently. By the way, I've had that bottle many times & every time loved it, just loved it.

Jimmy: The 03 KB ready to go or keep holding? I just had the Kanzler (upon Winetex recom) & that is ready to go. It was great bottle.

Offline with Scottj, Mr & Mrs Winegeek and Ms Tanglenet

a sparkling rose from Burgundy purchased by the glass (which I missed the name of)

2006 Argiolas Vermentino di Sardegna Costamolino
2005 Kutch Pinot Noir Russian River Valley
2005 Zepaltas Pinot Noir Suacci
2000 Henri Perrot-Minot Mazoyères-Chambertin

I have to admit, I prefer smaller offlines to larger ones as you can actually have a conversation with everyone at the table.
Thanks for the dinner, wine and company!
