2004 Brewer Clifton "Clos Pepe" Pinot Noir. Needs to be decanted for sediment. I could have made a very colorful sandcastle out of what was left behind in my glass, and in the bottle.  The wine was very good.
Beta testing a new signature.

2004 Cameron Chardonnay "Abbey Ridge" - Excellent as usual. We recently moved to a new house (for us - the house is 80 years old) and all of the wine is sitting in the basement in boxes. This seems to be the only white that Jan can find. I really need to get the wine racks set up!

Now that the Full Reply editor is back and working... Think I'll pop a nice 2001 RC Savoy or Marsh Vineyard Pinot tonight... to go with the Pork Tenderloin.

2001 Switchback Ridge Petite Sirah - haven't tried this in a few years but, wow, it's progressed through all it's puppy fat, agressive tannins and spice and rounded out into an almost mellow, complex drink.  I paired this up with grilled turkey tenderloins and a spicy pepperdew salsa and the wine was, surprisingly, almost overwhelmed.

Based on this bottle, no need to hold onto these.

2001 Marqués de Cáceres Rioja Reserva - tale of two bottles. First one was awful and boring. This wasn't that bad, and I'd give it a 90. Bizarre how great the bottle variation was.

Tonight we've got a 2004 Insignia and a 2003 Sequoia Grove Cabernet going. Both are drinking very well and the Insignia was fantastic, despite being so young!

1999 Arcadian Syrah "Robert O'Fleming" Cuvee - maybe the best American Syrah I've tasted, seriously. Caveat Emptor, I prefer more "old school" syrah to the very extracted fruit bombs.
