I figured there would be a ton of TNs of this. Interesting that TNs go all the way back to 03. But, none after 05. Well, I say this still needs some time in the ol' cellar. It kept improving & improving & improving with time. The last few sips were best. A great bottle of wine. Will it reach Parker's 95 points?!? - I don't know about that. But, that does not take anything away from this great bottle of wine.
Rating: 93+, hold. | | | |

| There is probably another thread somewhere, who knows. Here is a TN from last year: - 2001 Pride Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon - USA, California, Napa Valley (8/13/2007)
92+ pts; A bit shy on the nose leading into wild raspberry, blueberry fruit flavors with a dark chocolate and coffee overlay. Complex and interesting with a very long finish. Surprisingly balanced. Very good. (92 pts.)

| And again Interestingly this changed from a "Foley profile" to a more classic cab profile with the decant. Good wine. If you have these you might want to check in on them. This bottle had been at cool room temp here in Vegas for 8 months so who knows how that affected it.
- 2001 Pride Mountain Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon - USA, California, Napa Valley (7/15/2008)
Decanted about 15 minutes; Started out closed but opened up after the decant. The chocolate notes faded after the decant into a more interesting flavor profile. This wine seemed firmly in its drinking window for an 01 Cali Cab. (92 pts.)
