Tasted September 12, 2007. Opened and served immediately. Garnet to raspberry color in the glass, slightly dusty looking towards center. Nose of ripe black berries, black raspberries, a hint of smoke with some briar patch towards the finish. Tasty flavors of slightly tart raspberries, berries and red cherries. Medium acidity, integrated tannins, medium body. Good balance. One of the better Rosella’s I’ve had over the past few years. Drink now, maybe over the short term but no reason to wait. My last bottle and glad I drank it when I did. Picked up a point in my book over the last tasting one year ago. (91 pts.)
