| This wine can be found with minimal legwork. I called a distributor in the NY region. They pointed me toward a few stores they knew recevied the wine. After a few calls, I found a shop that had 8 bottles of the '02. Needless to say, that store now has none. | | | |

| About 15 minutes or so on the phone. First to a distributor in my region who I knew had the wine. Second to a list of stores that received the wine that the distributor so graciously provided me on a "cold call." | | | |

| Popped the first of the 8 bottles I got a few months ago last night w zekeboston. Well, it was actually his bottle. Boy - I'm glad I found some of this. Very smoky nose just out of the bottle and closed on the palate. After about 40 minutes in the glass, began to emerge to show fruit and some spice. The smokiness of the nose also blew off. I felt like the wine wanted to give me more and that after a couple hours in the decanter, it would be have really been strutting its stuff. I just wish it wasn't so hard to come by. | | | |

| At $45 on the list it's a good pick up. $60 plus shipping and tax is too much for this bottle. Well made $45 bottle but there are others at $60+ that are better. For instance, 02 Eloge, KL, Pride, Etude. | | | |

| Question...other than the KL...don't all these (pretax and shipping) cost $15-$20 more per bottle? | | | Chris Peterson | |

| If anyone is not taking their allocation (and I can't begin to imagine they won't) please send me a PM. I'd be glad to take some. | | | |

I thought I had recently posted it. I know I got something. I can't see where I posted it though.
I'll try and find the offering and post it (again).

| I am on the list, and I have not received an offering for the '03. But when I do, if there are extras, mdriver gets first crack . | | | Beta testing a new signature. | |

| I know I signed up for this list sometime last year too, so far I haven't seen anything in my mailbox. Being a newbie to the whole wine thing, I completely missed out on the 02's. Here's hoping it doesn't happen again. | | | |

| I too have been on the list for a few yrs. I show my last purchase was late March, but I show the same purchase and arrival dates. Their website says Offer letters are mailed (snail mail) in early February providing mailing list members with an opportunity to secure Entre Deux Meres prior to early spring shipments.
May give a call on Mon if the letter isn't sitting at work.

| I popped my first one of these last night. Didn't even begin to open-up until 90 + mins in the glass. Once it did - whoa baby! Screaming nose and palate of dark, rich fruit. This wine was very extracted and in a blind tasting I think I would have incorrectly labeled it a shiraz. I dunno - maybe I'm crazy.
Anyway, I'm not touching any of this for a few years. The way this wine was drinking last night, I did not enjoy it.

| $50, retail.
Chocolaty, soft tannins, very nice. No rush, youthful, but very much approachable. I would say a 91 pointer, fun bottle of wine, tasty, not very complex or deep, but a very much enjoyable bottle. Drink or hold is fine.
