...by the way, just to verify, this is the "The Hoodoo Man" not the "Ode to E". I was not allocated any of those.

That's great LCC.  Thanks.  Any SQN you don't want I'll always be happy to take off your hands.

You guys are killing me.  At least I finally got my postcard.  I honestly don't remember getting it last mailer, and I have been obsessing about that.

oh how quickly things change dave.  i went from postcard to 22 bottles pending in the blink of an eye.  since Fred left no one has brought any SQN to DC Cru dinners... i guess that may change soon.  if ever i can't swing my allocation i know who to call.

Alex, that is what 3 offerings a year will do to you!  I predict that SQN will be dominating your cellar before long.

jason...but you can flip these now ;)  you are on mainland

Rick,

I don't watch the auctions much, nor do I know how to search for old closed bid prices etc but are the 2003 SQN Inaugural really hammering at those price points, and that much for a full 3x3 6 pack?

The 6 packs were 5 and 1.  There was one auction where the Grenache went for a wildly high price.  My guess is that one auction is the WineBid avg. auction price.

Even with the higher allocations of SQN, I predict the sky high prices will continue as long as he works his magic in the bottle.

4 and 1(6) here. I'd take more if offered too.

i have now paid for 2 allocations (i passed on the t shirt) & have yet to recieve any wine, but i will wait patiently.

does anyone remember when the last 2 allocations are supposed to ship?

i might be more excited at the most recent offer because i hope the hoodoo man is as good as the albino was.  through the largesse of a couple of forumites, i was treated to the albino at least twice & it hs definitely been  my favorite white wine without bubbles of my first 50 years.

If it was from Hundred Acre, they would include a really cool screwdriver with the set. The screwdriver would add $500 to the cost, but that's what good screwdrivers go for these days ;-)
