Foley sent out a re-offering, along with a lottery to buy some big bottles and the Howell Mountain Cabernet.

Pax has issued their spring release.

Seavey has their "library" offering next week, featuring 1992 and 1997 Seavey Cabernet. Based on Dan's comments, I'll be passing on this. (I would be tempted to pick up a couple bottles of th1 1997)

Thanks to price hikes by people like Harlan & Sloan ($325+), this dropping off mailing lists thing is pretty easy!

"Groan" does rhyme with "Sloan..."

Maybe I could just sell my vineyards to Stuart Sloan and have him adopt me.

Our first wave of mailers will probably go out today.  We've raised our prices to...

Nah, just kidding, they're the same.

Pax came out. I had a bottle I really enjoyed recently, so I'm tempted, but I am doing my best to stick to my plan. Also, MX Wines is offering the Amnesia Zinfandel at $50/bottle (pass).

Looking back, I realized I skipped buying from a couple wineries last year that I want to buy from this year; they just slipped under the radar.

I don't know how you guys do it - I've dropped all but 2-3 mailers and it feels great.

Today... Turley in the mail, Garric in email, Radio Coteau... wow, the world has gone crazy.
Just to be exhaustive, I'm going through my email.  Also offers from Clos la Chance (fat chance), Buccella, and Realm has announced a release party.  Cliff Lede announced release of their cab, as did Plumpjack.  Have I mentioned Hourglass yet?Â
And of course Kosta Browne on Feb 4th, Aubert January 31st.  This is a BAD time of year...

James has the right idea.  Passing on mailers feels good.  My new plan:

Ridge and Schrader for cabs with a few QCs for variety. (bye to Bressler, KL, Neal, Match, Anamoly, Wolf Family, Blankiet, Harlan, Araujo, Realm, Abreu, Ladera, Jones Family, Maybach, Revana, Hourglass, L'Aventure, Merus, Larkmead, Kapcsandy, Harris Estate, David Arthur, Sloan, Hundred Acre and Hestan).

Aubert for Chardonnay.  (bye to Kistler, Newton, Peter Micheal, Brewer-Clifton, Kongsgaard, Walter Hansel, Peay, L'Angevin, DuMol, Littorai and Varner)

Rivers-Marie, Aubert, and Kosta Browne for Pinot Noir.  (bye to Williams Selyem, Rhys, Walter Hansel, Littorai, Brewer-Clifton, Radio Coteau, Alcina, Melville, Pisoni, Copain, DuMol, and Sea Smoke).

Alban, Carlisle and SQN for Syrah.  (bye to Tensley, L'Aventure, Pax, Copain, Radio Coteau, DuMol, Scholium, Saxum, Villa Creek, Peay, Samsara, and Kongsgaard)

I'd be more impressed about Dave and jamietown dropping their mailer habits if I didn't know where to find the thread listing all of their '05 Burg purchases...

Though that is a heck of a drop list, Dave.

I'm keeping my mailers down to 6, maybe even just 5.

Bressler, Match, Peay, Littorai, Dehlinger and maybe Radio Coteau

I am on a lot of other mailers, but they all get tossed or deleted right now.

LOL - I guess it is once-in-three-years kinda "mailer?"   Though the way the dollar is dropping I might not be able to buy many of these the next time around!Â
