There is much truth in what Dan says!

We have had bitch-sessions about the SQN bottles.  Personally I haven't found any of them that wouldn't fit somewhere in my cellar.  With Pax it is every single bottle;  with SQN many may be a strange shape but very few of them have a diameter to large to fit in a standard rack.

When I started to receive SQN I quite ordering and started selling most of my Pax.  That freed up the larger holes for the larger SQNs.  The Albino was a tough one to store until I finally figured out it could go in the overhead racks where I didn't have to worry about it sticking out.

BTW, I am saddened that I am now down to my last bottle of Albino.  I have a hard time drinking the last bottle of something especially if it is something special like the Albino is.  If anyone has a bottle and wants to share it at an offline let me know and I'll put together the event;  I can think of three people who would want to come!  Me, you and Dan.  You all do remember that the verbs "Albino" and "Bailey" (meaning: at offlines to hide the bottle under one's coat or in one's purse in order to keep it all for yourself... "he bailyed/Albinoed the bottle of Champagne") are interchangable.

Another question:  (and I do know the smart-ass answer)...  seriously,  how long before we should drink up the Hussy and the Boot, both 750s and Mags, or has the time passed?

I can't speak to teh Hussy, but it's time to drink up The Boot IMO, I think it is on the decline.

Hopefully the mag might still be pretty good.

dan,

thanks for telling me what i wanted to hear.

david,

if you put together an offline to drink your last albino, i willl gladly attend, especially if we can somehow pair it with a scallop dish similar to the one we had with it that time at your club.  sadly, i have no albino to contribute, so i would have to bring something else.

Some  of you will remember an offline several years ago at Arcadia Winery.  Eric White (diver extraordinaire) brought some freshly-caught Abalone.  That along with The Boot (en Mag) was a 100-point pairing!  I would imagine that the Albino would be pretty good too.
