lately, lots and lots and LOTS of schneider brooklyner hopfen-weisse. yes, it's that time of year again, where i wipe each and every whole foods out of it's stock, like the borg assimilating another species. resistance is futile.

T-Bird LOL - that's good stuff right there.

Drew, is there a place named Feierabend in Seattle or is that what you drink while watching Ryan Feierabend pitch for the M's? (you may need something stronger in that case)

Place called Feierabend :-D Amazing little German pub with a beer list that will knock your socks off... I refuse to watch the M's, or even baseball in general. May sound funny, but I was the biggest baseball fan through 1994. Loved the Tigers and the Giants, and was watching Matt Williams en route to a ton of records that year. And then they went on strike.

Now it's NFL for fantasy football and college hoops. That's about it...

just left beer table with scott from captain lawrence. tasted thru a few new recipes, including the nor'easter which was godhead ( http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/12959/35242 ) and xtra gold ( http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/12959/32269 )...
scott most certainly remembers benchland (call him already!) and hasn't made anything elderberry since from when you remember! but "thanks for the memories"... :-)

my buddy mike reff is awaiting the arrival of his sun, inducement begins in the morning, so he's coming by and i am thinking of opening an aged loring. lol. a 2004. oh my!

Had a Birra Moretti La Rossa and Kasteel Donker (from 750) this weekend. While the former was OK, the latter was awesome.

Juggernt: you know how Vogin says he "doesn't get" Italian wines? I feel the same way about Italian beer.

Been going through some River Horse brews lately... they are out of Lambertville, NJ.
http://www.riverhorse.com/

The Tripel Horse was a pretty complex high alcohol Belgian... Will be trying more from this place. Much of it is sold locally.
They have some great Pale Ale's as well, though I'm starting to stray from that style.

JB (Josephsbrau) Oktoberfest - awful. Really struggling with whether I want to just throw it out, or save it and use it to marinate sausages at some point. Yech.
